When a large billboard at Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City stating that “A modern cluster of Residential Condominiums to rise at Limketkai Center” was erected, Limketkai is not only referring to The Loop North and South Towers within the business complex. This time, it was indicated that the developer will be the company itself, and the project will be a modern cluster of residential condominium.
At the back of BDO, there is an vast empty space to accommodate the said project. The billboard is situated right beside Siam Thai Cuisine at Limketkai Gateway Park. The project seems to be a fraction of Limketkai Sons, Incorporated to make Cagayan de Oro a world-class city.
Limketkai Sons, the pride of Cagayan de Oro, already invested in different industries. It's latest major investment is on BPO sector where the company is currently building Limketkai Module-2 BPO & Cyberpark Building, a 4-storey building endorsed as an Information Technology (IT) Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) center. The company also nears to complete Gateway Twin Towers, a two 8-storey office buildings.
Limketkai is famous for its Limketkai Mall, the second biggest shopping mall complex in Mindanao located inside a mixed-use 40 hectare business complex in Barangay Lapasan. The mall houses internationally and nationally recognized stores, local boutique shops, fast-food chains. The complex is also connected via Limketkai Skywalk which connects the mall to other areas of the complex, such as the Limketkai Luxe Hotel and Gateway Tower.
The company had also ventured into manufacturing sector with its Limketkai Manufacturing Corporation, the manufacturer of the famous Marca Leon oil. It's located at Julio Pacana Street in Cagayan de Oro city. Last 2012, the company opened its hotel investment, the glassy Limketkai Luxe Hotel which stands 19-floor high, the first high-rise building in the city.
Teaming up with Vista Land, Limketkai's first residential building within the complex will be finished by 2018. The Loop North Tower is already under vertical construction. However, it is a joint project, and the developer is still Vista Land. This time, the letters printed on the billboard stated that the cluster of condominium towers will be developed by the Limketkai Sons, Inc. alone.
